Warm Christmas, 2008

Here in Internetville nobody really seems to notice the unusual warmth this December. This irritates me because it's so close to Christmas that one would think others would notice the temperature, but it seems there will be no 'White Christmas' here.
This Christmas my father and I will be going north to see family and ski. We don't ski often so that should be fun and for a present from my family this year I'm asking for a Nikon D-40, it's a really good camera but it's expensive.
While Christmas is exciting it comes with the dread of semester exams which just slightly ruins everything. As long as I do well though, I'll be happy. At the moment the teachers seem to be trying to put as much pressure on us as possible, it's as if they had something against us.
We don't have foster kittens anymore they came of adoption age and we had to let them go. We'll probably get more in spring. -Momiji
PS:Sorry for taking so long to get another post up, but nothing super interesting happened and school takes up a lot of my life.

Halloween Costumes!!!

Hello there,
I was just at the mall, which I never usually go to, and I got the best shoes for my costume as well as normal shoes which is good because I'm expecting my old pair to spontaneously combust any moment now. I'm going to be a gothic lolita girl for Halloween and I'm very excited, I was planning on making a parisol but I'm afraid I won't have time because of my horrid procrastination, I haven't yet really started much on my costume but I have the materials I need and the design.My big problem at the moment is that I know the design but I'm a little stuck on the pattern.It really bothers me when people don't think much about what they'll be for Halloween or say that they're too old for dressing up because it's the one time of the year when people will congratulate you for looking exactly like Dracula or whatever it is you choose to dress up as.
(whew! long sentence!)
I hope I can borrow a digital camera from someone and upload pictures to show you!I should really be working on my costume right now but I'll update again soon.

Our sixth litter of foster kitties!!!

Hi,
I'm so happy and confused by my computer, but still quite, quite happy because i have a five week old kitten crawling around on my lap.This is the sixth litter of foster kittens that we've taken care of so far.But as cute as they are, I must admit that they are very stinky,their food, their litter,the room that they are in, very smelly.This is the reason i don't really enjoy spending large amounts of time in that room so i take the kittens out to play.This litter does have their mom and she's tiny, probably no older than a year.

Have you ever noticed that when buying ingredients for a new recipe that you want to try there's always one thing that ends up being extremely hard to get?cause it's really starting to bug me...

Hopefully my posts won't always be so boring, i might get a nice camera for christmas.
